Scrappy Strip is a technique that keeps on giving. Thank you Mr. Bertucci! And thank you to Linda Driggs who developed the Mosaic technique. The possibilities are endless. I grabbed a left over blended piece of card stock from projects done last week. I used the In Colors 2020-2022 reinkers and glycerin to achieve a smooth blend with colors that usually will not blend together"worth a hoot!"
Check out last weeks blog post to see the other projects from the In Color blending. On this project I did a scrappy technique on 4x5.25 Early Espresso (Word of caution: let this piece dry thoroughly before trying to cut it )and then used that piece to cut 1/4" strips and glued them onto a piece of 3..75 x 5 Early Espresso. I then glued that piece on another 4X5.25 piece of EE card stock to add another layer for depth.
It needed some "pizzaz" so I used gold leaves, gold pearls, and gold embossing on the simple sentiment.
