Paper Pumpkin Add on cards

I ordered the add on cards for July Paper Pumpkin since they were very inexpensive and looked pretty interesting from the advertisement. Well, I now have ordered two more sets. They are wonderful! You can't make the backgrounds "from scratch" as pretty as they are and certainly not for the price. The envelopes alone are worth it! Here are a few examples of some of the projects I've created using them. The July Paper Pumpkin kit was extraordinary. They have really stepped up their "game" in products and design. There were a lot of supplies left over for me to use on the add-on cards to stretch the kit itself. The stamps was fabulous as well. The add-on cards will be great to use for Christmas cards; I am envisioning snowflakes and even perhaps a manger scene.

Blackberry Bliss and Purple Posey are  pretty together. I am so sad that Purple Posey was not available much this past year. It is really a gorgeous color. I sponged a little Smokey slate on the green area since it was a more vibrant color than the rest of the card. I initially thought I would make the deer (Nature's Beauty stamp set) a silhouette image and black it out totally. I changed my mind after I stamped it and saw the detail in the image; it was too pretty to cover it all up. The SU! blends worked well over the already printed background.  I pulled in Snow Front for the other images. I used a fine tip white gel pen from Sakura for the snow details. I had just received Tasteful Touches stamp set, so I used a sentiment from it. I really love that set and look forward to using it more.

The Mountain Air stamp set and dies are great to use with these backgrounds . Choosing the color way is the only challenging part. I sponged on the die cuts heavier than I should have though. I used the Ornate Thanks sentiment set . For the inside, I went with the Guy PP stamp set. It was perfect, especially for the recipient I have in mind.

The sentiment for the following card was from Hold On To Hope, a retired set from 2019. Of course you knew I would have a "nostalgic" element somewhere ! I also used a 3/4" circle punch for the moon on this card; the 1 inch  I used on the other cards just overtook the rest of the images.

With Paper Pumpkin, the stamp sets re usually small, but they are always great quality. I keep them by year, in a large stamp case on my desk in case I need a quick sentiment or image. I catalog the stamp sets in an index card file that I keep close at hand in my center desk drawer.

PRIZED PEONY BUNDLE

Fun fold using the Prized Peony stamp set/dies ,Peony Garden DSP, square doilies, and  Stampin' Write markers

Peony stamped with Basic Gray and colored with  blends

PRIZED PEONY BUNDLE . What nostalgic elements were used in these two cards? The retired artisan label punch, Flourishing Phrases, and an embossing border (unknown origin). Of course there are many current, beautiful items that could be used, such as the Everyday label or the Story Label punches and the Little Details embossing folders.

As for the fun fold, I give complete credit to Rachel Tessman at stampyourartout.com  .  The measurements are as follows:
Card base - 4 1/4 by 11 inches, scored at 2 3/4, 4 1/2, 7 1/4, 8 1/2
When folded, the last sentiment area is hidden; the top folds over the middle section . The DSP is cut to 4"x4",  matted on a piece of 4 1/8 square. The last solid card stock is 2 1/2" x 4", matted on a piece of 2 5/8 " x 4 1/8".
